Doctors, lawyers, insurance agents, executives, supervisors, and anyone else with administrative professionals on their staff will have the opportunity to treat them to a special event at our annual Administrative Professionals Day Luncheon coming up on Wednesday, April 21st.

The highlight of this year’s luncheon will be a fashion show featuring apparel from The Looking Glass, Brantley’s, and Heritage House Kids, as well as jewelry and accessories from Merle Norman of Rainsville, Deb’s Gifts, and Pennys From Heaven Spa. Each administrative professional in attendance will get a gift bag, and have a chance to win door prizes including our grand prize, a travel package valued at $1,200 or more.
You do not have to be an administrative professional to join the fun but the seating at the Tom Bevill Enrichment Center will be limited. Tickets are only $20 each, and must be reserved in advance.

We have two new members to report this week.

All That Glitters, located across from Regions at 75 Main Street West in Rainsville has a dazzling selection of ladies’ fashions, handbags, jewelry, footwear, sunglasses, and more. Right now, all Yellow Box shoes, boots, and sandals are on sale. Gift certificates are available. Owned and operated by Troice Todd, the shop is open Tuesday through Saturday.

The Rainsville Chamber will be awarding $1,500 scholarships to three Plainview High School seniors in a few weeks. To qualify, applicants must have a 90 or above average and have plans to continue their education. You may download applications at www.rainsville.info.

The Rainsville Civitan Club will host the Carson & Barnes Circus on Monday, April 26.
