A couple of noteable changes have been made for 2011:
In the student division (ages 8-18) there will be only one category for
all desserts. That means all students entering pies, cakes, cookies,
pastries, etc. will be in the same category. And only one entry per
student will be allowed in the student division. Teenagers may compete
in the "amateur" adult division (see below). STUDENT ENTRY FORM (PDF).
A new "professional" division has been added. Those who operates a
dessert business -- whether it be through a restaurant, a store or
home-based -- would fall into this new division. There will be only one
category for all desserts in this division. The event will provide an
opportunity to promote the business. PRO ENTRY FORM (PDF).
Amateur dessert makers may enter all three categories! But only one dessert per category per person will be allowed.
Desserts will be judged on three elements:
1) taste
2) appearance
3) creativity
Pre-registration will NOT be required; contestants may enter on the day of the
event between 3:00 - 3:45 PM. Download the entry forms and information
sheet below for more details.
The first 40 persons to enter the baking contest
will receive an event t-shirt!

contest. Last year, representatives from the following
direct-marketing companies participated:
• The Pampered Chef
• Celebrating Home
• Scentsy Candles
• Princess House
• Willow House
Kitchen Show booth space is limited. Therefore, the available spaces will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.
